I love turkey and stuffing and twice baked potatoes and rolls and pumpkin pie and, and, and! Add it all up and it’s a great day to be thankful for family, friends and full plates of food. This year I am especially thankful for the blessings that Patrick and I have already been given – getting married and expecting our first little bundle of baby. Life is good…at 23 weeks.

22 weeks
Check me out! Here I am in the same dress that I was able to wear not too long ago, although I may be retiring it soon enough. Baby PMac is getting B-I-G!
Greatness
WHY did I not think to buy a crib pre baby for Miss Princess?! Seriously! What fun it was to test out the crib on my first little baby although something tells me that she was a little less than thrilled for the experience: re the last candid. The baby’s mattress just arrived and of course it was just too tempting for me not to plop Princie in it. Although I don’t think her annoyance will be long-lived considering she knows who butters her bread!
Such a sweet puppy wuppy…
Birthday Girl
Happy Birthday to sweet Amrita! Last weekend we celebrated in true girly fashion with lunch at Parigi’s and lots of gossip, post a little pampering action at the Crescent. Unfortunately I missed out on the first leg of the day but was able to join in for lunchie lunch. And boy did I not miss out on much! We had such a great afternoon catching up with not one dull moment! What a great afternoon treat with some of my favorite girls around.
The NonBirthday Birthday Dinner
We had a great “nonbirthday” birthday dinner celebrating Kyle last weekend. We spent the night in Grapevine at Wilhoite's and Tolbert’s. At one point after dinner, I happened to look toward the boy end of the table and noticed that they were taking a “moment” busy on their phones. We had a great time but the night was too short, as always. When we got home, Patrick and Princess spent some together time and I snapped a photo of my two Peas in a Pod.

Let’s Celebrate!
In honor of Brother Bear’s DIRTY THIRTY, big promotion and he and Juli’s new house, Patrick and I met them for dinner at one of our fav’s – PFChang’s. Mmm, mmm, tasty.
Ah, too cute. Here we all are…the newlyweds!
22 weeks
Here I am…again! :) And thanks to my very own personal shopper named Sophia, I am looking oh so cute in my neeeew dress.
On The Road Again
Well we had yet another wonderful and fabulous and fun-filled trip to North Carolina to visit Patrick’s family last weekend. Thanks to the hospitality, family, food and friends (and shopping!), we had such a great time in the NC.
We went to Chapel Hill on Friday to walk around campus and enjoy the homecoming fun with Patrick’s Dad. In the sea of light blue, my husband blended in with fellow UNC fans. It was so much fun seeing the campus. Here we are in front of the ATO house in honor of Patrick.
Another campus candid.
At Top of the Hill for drinks and a snack. My water was so tasty! :)
Back in Raleigh…Miss Sophia and her obligatory sister-in-law pic with me and with big brother Patrick.
The girls in the family before we took an afternoon walk.
Seriously, how beautiful is NC in the fall?
On our walk taking a pit stop to feed the ducks.
What a way to end such a great weekend!

Little Pumpkin
In honor of Halloween, we dressed up Miss Princess as a little pumpkin. She was too cute and didn’t mind sporting her suit at all – surprisingly enough! Bear had no clue just how darling she looked in her “boo” scarf (a la Chi Omega with the skull and cross bones!) Here we are in our Halloween family portrait. Princess is very clearly unhappy and I can only imagine what she was thinking. A special thanks to Megs and Ryan, our camera crew. :)
Later on we handed out sweet treats to the kiddos and ate some yum scrum PETE’S pasta from good ‘ol McAlester, Oklahoma. Thanks, Ryan!! Talk about mmm, mmm, good. And the boys even cleaned up after dinner – what a special treat!! All in all, it was a great night.
And here’s a couple of cutie pics of Megs and Ryan as the bunny and bunny hunter from Friday night. Who knew the famed McKittrick bunny costume would be so popular?! Too cute…
