37 Weeks

FINISHED.

The nursery is finished! :) The artwork finally arrived...and our first babies are now permanently on the wall for Baby PMac to love.

Thanks to my "fancy cam," we were able to snap a couple of photos of the pups and have them made into canvases. Normally I have no problem getting pics of my girls but give me a purpose and apparently I do! It took me from Christmas until about 3 weeks ago before we got the winning shots. To get Miss Bear to stay put, Patrick dangled a piece of his prized pulled pork next to my head so she would look at the camera. :) Now if that's not love, I don't know what is. Needless to say, I couldn't be happier...

And this beaute is thanks to my MOH Christy! She gifted us with Baby Patrick's very own hospital sign made by our girlfriend Cara. Talk about muy precious. I can't wait to fill in his stats...soon enough!

The. Best. Day.

FEBRUARY 21, 2009. The. Best. Day. It's the day I married my husband and became a wife. It's the day that has allowed me to say "my husband" 99,999 times since...and it never gets old. This time last year, we were in Kauai enjoying island time. Little did we know that our 'anniversary trip' back this year wouldn't happen with special thanks to our little bundle of joy about to make his debut. What a difference a year makes, right? (...but not when it comes to year-old wedding cake!)

To my husband...thank you for the best year yet and may many more follow.

Nursery Updates

Well, we are almost done with Baby PMac's little nursery! Can I get an amen? :) Patrick's monogrammed pillow for the glider just came today. I'm expecting the artwork later this week, so I will have to update with photos after we hang them. I am so excited that it's almost done.

36 Weeks AND COUNTING

Well, the clock is ticking and we're getting excited to welcome Baby Patrick to the world. I've spent the day running errands, packing bags and doing laundry, just in case. :) We are ready for you little man...

Welcome to the World, Baby K!

It's official...Baby Kerecman has made his debut. On Friday, February 19, Kolt Deacon joined the world weighing 7 lbs and 2 oz...and was 21.5 inches long. He is absolutely the most handsome and such a sweet, sweet baby. Congratulations to my Big and Kyle. He is perfect.

How Sweet It Is

Mmm…Valentine’s Day.  It has a whole new meaning now that I’ve developed quite a sweet tooth! :)  Fortunately, our candy supply is limited because I have absolutely no willpower.  Although I did manage to have a few sweet treats today including a flashback to grade school days with some Fun Dip.

Baby, It’s Cold Outside…

10 inches. That’s how many inches of snow fell on our sunny state last week!  To help keep “warm,” Daddy dressed Miss Bear in doggie outerwear…a sweatshirt.  Here she is on her way outside…

“Happy Birthday To Me”

To help ring in yet another birthday in my 30’s, we spent Saturday night at none other than Babe’s.  YUM SCRUM.  I don’t know if I truly said a word through dinner because I was too, um…“focused.”  We missed Kyle who was in NC and of course Christy and Steven and Sheri and Justin but soon enough, we’ll see everyone when all these babies make their debut!  Here are a few snapshots from the night.

   

 

Little Man Ryan

Here are a few pics of my sweet girlfriend Lizzy and Baby Ryan who were in town last week.  Talk about a precious baby!  This little guy was nothing but giggles and sweet smiles.  Even though our time was short-lived together, it was definitely the highlight of my week.  I’ve got a new crush and his name is Ryan!

Chef Patrick

Last weekend my husband, otherwise known as Chef Patrick, decided to roast 8 pounds of pulled pork.  Talk about dedication…he was up at 5 am putting it in the oven and it definitely payed off!  His delicious masterpiece was just the start of many more to come.  Way to go, Chefie.

Baby Kerecman

Our third and final shower was a true success!  We recently celebrated Baby Boy Kerecman with a shower for my Big, Jaime.  It was just precious – from the fun table decor and food to the baby’s beautiful room, our morning was one to remember.  I still can’t believe that by the end of the month, Baby K will be here!  Here’s to a speedy and safe arrival, little man.  We can’t wait to meet you.
