Here are a few "firsts" photos from the big day. I am busy categorizing over 700 photos which we have managed to take of Patrick Jr. in his short time of "life on the outside." Stay tuned...

Without further ado...

We welcomed our new bundle of joy, Mr. Patrick Kenneth Jr., on Thursday, March 11 at 8:52 pm. He arrived via c-section after a very long wait but it was definitely worth it! He weighed 7 lbs 1 oz and was 20" long.

Already he is a perfect fit in our family and has brought many laughs and some happy tears along the way in his short 2 weeks. It's hard to believe that it has already been 14 days!

As our baby was delivered, I couldn't help but remember why I married my husband as I saw his reaction to his son being born. Or later when he exclaimed, "he doesn't even look like us!" :) Aw, how sweet it is.

I am so excited to post a million words about this little man who has stolen our hearts but will settle on his debut post this morning with many more to follow soon.

Welcome to the world, Little Man Patrick. We love you so much.

Welcome to the World, Baby Finley!

Ah, the sweet news that MISS FINLEY JAYMES was born a happy and healthy little girl is just music to my ears! Although we aren't in OK with the now family of 4, we are there in spirit.
Miss Finley was born on March 2 at 8:32 am. She weighs 7 lbs and 6 oz and is 19 1/2 inches long...sporting a head of black hair! We are so thrilled for Christy and Steven and of course big brother Jackson. Congrats Von Tungelns!

38 Weeks...and we can't wait to meet you, Little Man.

Your debut is just around the corner.

Oh Boy!

Yesterday, my bosses, Anne and Shelle, hosted an amazing shower in honor of Little Man Patrick's coming arrival!! I am going to risk sounding like a broken record because seriously - you guessed it - "we are so blessed." Being surrounded by such wonderful friends and coworkers is such a blessing and was especially so yesterday.

Anne and Shelle hosted the soiree and left out NO detail. The petit fours were perfectly decorated and delicious! The favors could not have been cuter and were such a yummy treat. The food was scrumptious and scored big time points with this preggers mommy to be...and my hubby too! (He lucked out and got to taste test some leftovers.) And of course the tablescape was beautiful - including orchids, one of my favs! Anne even had the most precious diaper cake made and it was a perfect addition to the living room decor. Really and truly...I got spoiled!

I am so thankful for the generosity that all of my/our friends have shown us during my pregnancy. It is such an exciting time to celebrate with those who are closest to you. Patrick Sr. and I are rich in our friends.

This is another favorite. Jeny gifted Patrick - Sr. - and me with our "anniversary" gift...as in our wedding gift from last year. Haha. It got lost in her closet and she just found it. LOVE HER...and our fabulous new gifty!
