Little Fishies

You are such a water baby, but we already knew that thanks to your nightly baths. You could spend hours upon hours splashing around...and being in your Aunt Jaime's pool was no different. On Memorial Day, you floated, splashed and kicked around until you were wrinkly. And outside of the pool, you zeroed in on Kolt's water playstation, stopping only for a brief sip, water of course. You, Kolt and Nate were the cutest 3 amigos in your matching shirts, stealing the show, thanks to LaDawn. Special thank you's to the K's for their hospitality, yet once again. The food, the company, the treats...can I get an amen?!

Christened

We have officially christened the apartment with P's first bath with tsunami-sized waves and all. And, per Uncle Martin's "one and only request," Mommy tried for a faux-hawk and, well...not so much. Even post haircut, it wasn't happening.

Hello, Beautiful

Moved.

We officially moved from our little cocoon of a neighborhood. On moving day last week, our little man took part in the action until he went over to Avery's for the morning while the movers painstakingly moved every. last. box. Bless them. (I am convinced that we are either closet hoarders or the house had the BEST storage ever.)

Later, as I stood in the quiet of the house which used to be so loud and full of life, nostalgia set in. I realized that as much as I am ready to move on, some of my most fond memories were born between those walls. Like bringing home my first-born son. As he was carefully laid in his nursery crib, remembering that his Daddy and Poppy spent a weekend making it 'perfect for baby' in preparation of his arrival. It was also the start of my married life the day my husband proposed in our kitchen. It will hold some of my very best life moments forever and I will miss it. So long, house.

The Next Day

The proof is in the pudding. Here's little man's new 'do the morning after - haircut - during what looks like it was his favorite breakfast ever. You're welcome, Son.

Mommy did brush it pre-pics because if you had only seen our sweet bundle of hair, you too would have said, "holy hair!"

Little Gem

I am paying tribute to this little gem - a roll of paper towels. It SAVED me as I was trying to pack up our casa. My little man was muy entertained pushing and kicking this around the house...for what seemed like hours. Thank you, Costco.

14 mos

Is it sad that I am only NOW typing baby boy's 14 month post, on the eve of his 15 month birthday? Thanks to our chaotic days lately, this mommy has gotten behind!

Our little one is a character...all boy...a daredevil.

When Daddy was walking out of the door after lunch, Little P said "bye, bye," waved and went on with his business of playing with toys.

#8 arrived on May 11 (tooth)

P's favorite sound to make (besides the duck!) is hissing like a snake.

He clicks and clacks his tongue all day long.

He loves to laugh. Loves to use his voice - happy or mad! Loves to be tickled, roll off the bed and couch - you name it!

Swims like a fish. Thankfully Mimi has outfitted him with suits a'plenty.

Favorite foods: grilled cheese, macaroni, watermelon, peaches, chicken, yogurt, veggie strips and graham crackers.
