MISSING: PLAID SHORTS

One of Mommy's favorite memories is when you were running through the house and stopped suddenly.  At that moment, your skinny self lost your shorts!  But that didn't stop you.  No, instead you looked down, stepped out of your shorts one foot at a time and off you went, running outside.  Who needs shorts anyway when you're having fun, right?!  

BYE, BYE MOBILE

 My little love...one day, you were very busy during naptime.  This is what Mommy found.  It should be noted that your mobile went bye-bye that day.

MONOGRAMMED COOKIES

You helped make cookies which we gave to thank the doctors and nurses who took care of Charlotte.  It was a group affair with both grandmothers and Mommy to get them done.  What a great big brother you are.

REMEMBERING CHAR CHAR

Mommy's best friends gifted our family with a crape myrtle tree for us to remember Charlotte.  We planted it in our backyard in "Charlotte's Garden."  I know that as it grows over the years, our love for her will too.  We will always keep her memory in our hearts.  She was such an incredible little girl whose big brother loved her so much!  

2 GOING ON 20

Quite the cool kid you are as seen here in Cars sunglasses.  Fast and furious are the cars, as are you when Mommy or Daddy forgets to bring them when we're out.  They go everywhere and on bright mornings, must be worn indoors.

BAKERS MAN

Bake me a cookie!  Never one to miss an opportunity to help measure, pour, crack and stir in the kitchen so when Gaga needed help making cookies for Charlotte's nurses, you were the man for the job.  It also helps that it was an activity to do with your Gaga!  You helped make 60 cookies.

HAPPY EASTER

This year, you participated in your first Easter Egg Hunt with Aunt Sophia.  You did so well that Gaga and Sophia re-hid eggs for you to find.  You were especially drawn to the table of Easter presents.  In true Little P style, we fed you marshmallows during church but at least they were Easter shaped.

PAINTER PATRICK

 When Daddy and Uncle Evan painted the nursery, you wanted to help but not without a little hand-holding with Aunt Sophia!  You had the best time rolling the paint brush along the wall, all the while pantless.  Thanks to your help, the room was a beautiful new color of gray.

MMM...

You now like donuts.  Enough so, that you try to eat one in its entirety, as in one bite.  Here is proof.

FOR THE LOVE OF MOWING

You are ALL boy and love ALL things boy like lawn equipment, dirt, and dirty stuff.  One day you convinced Daddy to take out the lawn mower and push it around the grass.  It may have been the most exciting moment of your life to date.  And it was over, you cried!  Fortunately you have your very own John Deere "mowa" which you push around both inside and outside as you follow in Daddy's footsteps.

YOGURT ANYONE?

You have always loved yogurt since you were teeny tiny.  Mommy used to spoon feed it to you - and never fast enough!  Then came you attempting to self-feed...with a spoon.  Fortunately YoBaby makes toddler squeezers.  Gift from above although lately you have found much satisfaction squeezing it out from the pouch...onto your plate...and retrieving it with your mouth.  The joy of boys, right?

PARTICULARLY CUTE

One of your favorite things to do is flip your chair which sits in the den so that you can "build" on it.  Often times, you eat snacks on it or line up cars and trucks like you see here.  Another one of your particularly cute "favorites," is wearing sunglasses and hats.  And of course I have to document your old soul self: crossing your legs like Daddy.  It's so YOU!
