From North Carolina, we made a pit-stop in Texas to unpack - and repack - before heading north to Oklahoma. And the fun didn't stop! Baby Patrick did AWESOME on the ride there. This was made possible thanks to strategically leaving at bedtime to ensure a peaceful ride...and we were right. We know our baby and he is certainly not one for long car rides. (Insert non-existent older sibling to entertain baby. This is where Mommy should be paid in clothes for her overtime in the entertaining department. Who has sung songs and danced seated and made up voices and, and, and for 5 hours straight? This Mommy!)
We ate our way through PC in the few short days that we were there. And, we were spoiled with food, fun and presies. Baby too! This kiddo raked it in. Just like in NC, the first toy he "opened" became his favorite.
We went to Christmas Eve mass and our sweet angel had another agenda during Father's sermon. :) Let's just say that he takes after Mommy and had a lot to say so he and Daddy spent some time in the back. But that certainly didn't put a damper on the celebration. We had a such a wonderful 'First Christmas' with our beautiful baby boy.
