Baby Boy, you are 11 months old today! (February 11) You are becoming such a 'little human' and we're loving every minute of watching you discover yourself. From your famous animal noises to your charming ways and good looks, you certainly know how to woo your Mommy...and Daddy! It's been such fun to walk this journey with you so far and I'm looking forward to what is yet to come.
Here are some things that you are up to this month:
You are a performer at heart and debuted standing during a playdate with the Ewings recently. You may remember that you also debuted sitting with them too.
You LOVE to 'walk' around as long as someone is helping to keep you steady. Soon, you may be on your own. We shall see.
You are very mobile, scooting around in the seated position like an inchworm.
You LOVE to roll a ball back and forth with Daddy and Mommy. In fact, it's your toy of choice.
You make fish lips and smack constantly.
Your 3rd and 4th teeth (upper central incisors) arrived within a few days of each other. Whew.
Your favorite sound to make this month is: "quack, quack. quack, quack." It's priceless. You are officially a lover of nature with your repertoire of sounds.
When you take a bath, you LOVE it if I pour water out of a cup and into the bathtub. You'll even try to drink the water stream. You are truly a LOVER of your nightly baths and could spend hours in the tub.
Your sleeping patterns are the same: bedtime at 630, rise at 7, naps at 9 and 1. This week you have been 'cry-talking' in your sleep around 630 am, but I am hoping it's a phase and not a trend.
YOU LOVE TO BE PUSHED IN A STROLLER. Sometimes, I push you around in the house.
You are still Mr. Independent and this includes feeding time. Unless you are feeding yourself, we have a hard time getting it in your little bod! Mommy has a few tricks up her sleeve, so you do eat but it is just a longer process now.
All in all, you are Mr. Personality and SO MUCH FUN to be around. Thankfully, you are mine. (and Daddy's too!) You are our precious treasure from God. We love you Sweet P!
