I'm considering this to be our inaugural season of hosting holidays given that we are hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas! Fortunately for us, Thanksgiving was a success. We had a great time preparing the feast and were thankful that the grandmothers were on hand throughout. Seriously, what would we do without them? I even made my first pumpkin pie (x2!), complete with Grandma Theo's Blue Ribbon pie crusts. And after we popped Mr. Bird in the oven, we made our way to the Nature Preserve for a little family time. Princess was the star of the show, as another walker stopped to take her picture when she was strolling in the BOB with P.
