WHAT a wonderful weekend we had celebrating my brother and his neeeeew wife! :) We just got back from Paris, Texas where the wedding festivities took place. Juli's family was nothing short of gracious and she was such a relaxed, happy and beautiful bride!
When the Collins clan gets together it's quite a party since we love to ham it up. We had fun reliving to good 'ol days and creating new memories in Paris with the Murphys. The rehearsal dinner got us kicked off with a bang, Collins style. :) It was super cute 'country chic' theme and Mama Julie outdid herself yet once again with the craftiness. Afterwards, we all headed to Buffalo Joe's for some cocktails and country. Some of the girls (myself included) called it an early(ier) night than the rest, ah-hem, and fortunately so since we heard that the night lasted for awhile!
We had a yummy brunch on Saturday morning followed by swimming, shopping and a catnap before the big event. Juli and Stephen got married in the same chapel where her parents did outside of Paris. So cute! Their ceremony was just perfect, complete with tears, laughter and more tears of joy! :) Of course, no wedding is complete without a little celebrating, and Juli (and team's) hard work certainly paid off! The reception was beautiful...and super yummy too! :) We couldn't believe that it was over bc the night had flown by!
All in all, it was a weekend we'll always remember. Welcome to the family, Little Juli! We have been waiting a long time for you and are so happy you're finally here! :) Now, if we can just get cousin Leslie married off, it'll be 3 for 3 in 09!!!!!!!!!!!!
