And then there were four. Sunday was a very exciting day for my Carolina-loving household slash husband. UNC won the game against OU and is headed to the Final Four. And although OU is the Collins' alma matter (minus me - go Pokes!) I am happy for my husbie and his team's big victory. :)


Soon, I will post a few pics from last Sunday's game we watched at the Carolina Club's official game-watching headquarters, the MAT, complete with banners, flags, table tents and more. Now, the countdown is on for Saturday's game - GO TARHEELS!

All In The Family

patrick's brother, marty, was in town for business this week so he and i went to maggino's last night while patrick made his way home from the OC. (oh, how i loved that show.) fortunately though, patrick's flight landed early so we were able to hang out later for a little family love...and college bashing. [definition: one-upping other brother with poor stats of his school's team.] it was fun but of course he and marty were so NOT agreeable to picture taking, regardless of how hard i tried. as usual though, our time together was too short but at least we made progress in planning the "mckittrick weekend" with patrick and me and his 2 brothers and their gfriends. FUN. thanks for dinner, marty!

11 jars. this is the number of how many jars of homemade pasta sauce i made on sunday. yea, me. a special thank you goes out to my nonni for the famous family recipe. of course my vat of sauce would have made more but patrick and i got overexcited and made a pound of pasta with extra sauce. and i wonder why i feel heavy this week...

Baby Brunch and Wings

saturday was a fun-filled day of brunch, babies and wings. i hosted a baby brunch for melanie that morning for the girls and mel and her mom, mom-in-law and sisters. we had so much fun just hanging out and catching up. plus, mel totally scored with all of her loot! we sure know how to welcome baby andrew mccoy in style. and later that night, we had girlfriend dinner with boys for some basketball, wings and great gossip. we had the best day!

Goodbye Hawaii...Hello, Newlyweds

we had the MOST AMAZING honeymoon and i have my wonderful husband patrick to thank. we're already planning our next trip back bc, "kauai, we miss you!" here are a few more pics of leaving kauai and coming home...as the mckittricks!

our last day. on the way to the north shore 'in hopes of finding gabrielle reece's house.' hey, she and her kiddos were on our flight to kauai so we feel like we're bonded now! really, we were enjoying the drive and some shopping and stopped at this bird conservatory on the way. this is a view from the point.

we took a 'sunset cruise' one day and toured the napoli coast. we loved cocktail hour and the yummy dinner. these are the catamaran's we took. oddly enough, we met a friend who lives in plano although she started feeling ill almost immediately so we didn't get to exchange info but she was so cute!

at this point, i'm so unbelievably windblown and disheveled and wearing patrick's parka, that i'm not even cute in our sunset photo. boo.
