For the past month or so, we (okay, I) have been in house overdrive in preparation for baby. Think spring cleaning…a little early. In converting the office we discovered just how much had to be redistributed into the rest of our house somewhere. And by no means am I exaggerating when I say that it was quite the undertaking! After much hard work by both Patrick and me, we have finally reached the point where the once were office contents have found new homes and the baby’s room is free for all things baby. Ah, music to my ears. Now that the room is (almost!) ready, the closet is ready, and the house has been “organized and simplified” to my liking, we are ready to rock and roll. After this weekend, we should be on the homeward stretch for nursery completion and I promise to post some pics of my now favorite room. Until then, I will leave you with a candid of my little family as I found them the other morning. Yes, the girls think they are human and belong in our bed. And yes, that is my husband cuddling with them after he called me in to take their picture. Life is good.
