Finally THE day - the biggest day of my life thus far - was here. It was a perfect start to a perfect day. My mom made breakfast for me and the bridesmaids and then we all loaded up in the van and headed to the salon for hair and makeup. We had the absolute BEST day. Special thanks to my mom's girlfriend, Lynnie, who hosted such darling lunch. Talk about a day of scrumptious food! Jeanne and Miss Sophia came and spent a little bit with us while Sophia had her hair styled. Everyone looked beautiful and I loved seeing the before and after.
Finally, it was my turn and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Thanks to Sandy and Melissa for making my pretty! We love George, Melissa's son who tagged along and became our entertainment that afternoon when the mimosas weren't cutting it! He made sure there was never a dull moment and I think that he may or may not have a crush on a particular someone named Stephanie.
Once done at the salon, we headed home for a breather and then to the Mansion for pre-wedding photos, minus Patrick and me seeing each other. That was a real trick but we managed to get along just fine. The day was going great and I was so relaxed which is SO unlike me! :) I guess it was a good a thing, right?
Then it was time...Patty the wedding coordinator was downstairs at the church calling all bridesmaids which left just my mom, Jeanne, Sophia, Christy and me. That was when it really sunk in...I was about to GET MARRIED. Praise the Lord!

This is the best pic that I can find that shows me driving the 15-passenger van! Love it!
Aw, so pretty are we! Sophia and Sarah
And from the back...
PRE MAKEUP LOOK for Mom, Me and Jeanne with my "bride hair."
Sweet Sandy who made my hair look fabulous!
Lynnie Stahl who hosted our lunch. YUM SCRUM.
Sandwiches were flying off the plate even before we could unwrap it!
And another basket or 2 of veggies and sweet treats! Thanks, Lynnie!
This is our basket that made itself to our "honeymoon suite" at the Fairfield that night. It was full of yummy dinner, cakes and CHAMPAGNE. Of course, we ate and drank NONE of it that night, rather SLEPT instead!
